Detail-oriented and organized, the full-time Check Reconciliation Specialist will manage the matching of incoming check payments from the Chase lockbox against invoices in Stripe, ensuring accurate reconciliation and resolving payment discrepancies in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Process and match incoming check payments to open invoices in Stripe
- Reconcile daily lockbox deposits and payment batches to ensure accuracy
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, including short payments and overpayments
Required qualifications
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and payment/invoicing systems
- Clear written communication skills for customer-facing coordination
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience in accounts receivable or payments support is a plus
- Prior experience with Stripe or lockbox payment processing is preferred
