Chemical Company Assessor

Job Summary

Performing assessments according to the bluesign criteria, the full-time Chemical Company Assessor will manage company evaluations, compliance follow-ups, and project work, while working remotely and occasionally traveling to Canada and Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct company assessments based on bluesign criteria, including report writing and evaluations
• Follow up on compliance roadmaps and monitor continuous improvement at client companies
• Maintain the business process leading IT tool and undertake project work as needed

Required qualifications

• Degree in engineering, natural science, or a related technical field, preferably textile-related
• Knowledge of product stewardship, classification, labeling, and regulatory affairs
• Experience in chemistry and/or plastic industry manufacturing
• Prior auditing experience in environment, health, and safety
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills
