Job Summary
A company is looking for a Chief Architect to provide technical leadership and mentorship in data architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor in data competencies
- Define the architectural vision and establish standards for solution design across the enterprise
- Communicate data architecture strategies effectively to diverse audiences
Required Qualifications
- 10-12 years of progressive experience in IT and systems architecture, with 5+ years in enterprise or solution architecture roles
- 3+ years in cloud architecture and modernization efforts in federal or similarly regulated environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, SAFe Architect, CISSP) strongly preferred
- 2-3 years of domain-specific experience working in the VA or federal civilian agencies is preferred
