Job Summary
To amplify the power of the environmental field, the full-time salaried Chief Executive Officer will lead Mosaic in strengthening movement infrastructure through strategic grantmaking, team management, and external representation while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership in collaboration with the Governance Assembly to achieve organizational goals and enhance field connectivity
- Direct grantmaking processes, ensuring inclusive execution and maintaining strong relationships with grantees
- Represent Mosaic externally, engaging diverse stakeholders and fostering an inclusive community around the organization's mission
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant work experience, with 4-5+ years in a management role
- Extensive knowledge of environmental, social justice, and movement-building principles
- Demonstrated fundraising ability and experience in cultivating donor relationships
- Strong coalition-building skills with a commitment to justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Prior experience working with Mosaic is required
