Job Summary
Reporting to the CEO, the fully remote Chief Financial Officer will manage financial planning and analysis, oversee department heads in accounting, human resources, and acquisitions, and partner with the CEO to enhance profitability and enterprise value in a growing services business with a large hourly workforce.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO to develop and execute business strategies aimed at improving profitability and maximizing enterprise value
- Lead department heads in accounting, human resources, and acquisitions, setting clear goals while allowing autonomy in their areas
- Utilize AI tools for financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling
Required qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in financial management leadership, including time as a CFO or senior finance leader in businesses with large hourly workforces
- Proven track record of driving profitability and cost discipline
- Experience with private equity and managing M&A processes
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools and automation in finance and reporting
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
