Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary

Providing financial leadership for both Assail, Inc. and Assail Federal, Inc., the full-time Chief Financial Officer will manage financial strategy, operations, and systems to support growth while collaborating with the CEO and leadership team in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting for both companies
• Oversee cash management, capital allocation, and financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate information
• Build and develop the finance function, establishing internal controls and scalable financial systems

Required qualifications

• Progressive finance leadership experience, including financial planning and accounting oversight
• Experience in supporting a growing technology or SaaS business with a strong understanding of recurring revenue models
• Proven ability to partner with CEOs, boards, and investors, clearly explaining complex financial matters
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a hands-on approach to details
• A CPA, MBA, or comparable professional experience is preferred
