Chief Information Officer

Job Summary

To support a growing university, the full-time Chief Information Officer will build an internal technology organization, manage the transition from outsourced services, and design innovative systems and workflows to enhance the student and staff experience, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Set a multi-year technology, data, and AI strategy aligned with the university's strategic plan
• Develop and implement data analytics systems to improve student success and streamline operations
• Lead the internal technology team and ensure a secure, reliable technology environment while managing partnerships

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, business, or a related field
• Ten or more years of progressively responsible technology leadership experience, including executive-level roles
• Proven success in leading technology organizations in complex, mission-driven environments
• Experience in transitioning technology operations from outsourced to internal teams
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies that leverage technology for growth and improved outcomes
