Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Chief Information Security Officer, the full-time remote role will build and lead the internal security program, ensuring the protection of people, systems, infrastructure, and company data while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective security strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the company-wide security strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with risk profiles and customer commitments
• Drive critical security assessments, control design, and incident response while building a focused internal team
• Oversee security risk management across identities, endpoints, SaaS applications, and third-party vendors, embedding security into product development processes

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a CISO, Deputy CISO, or equivalent in a high-growth technology company
• Deep technical expertise in cloud, identity, endpoint, and infrastructure security
• Experience with security assurance or compliance programs such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP
• Strong command of incident response, vulnerability management, and secure software development practices
• Current understanding of security risks associated with AI systems and generative AI usage
