Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Chief Information Security Officer to lead security strategy and incident response across multiple brands in a fully remote capacity, while also driving AI-driven security initiatives and managing a small team of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the security strategy, roadmap, and budget, reporting on posture and risks to leadership monthly
• Lead incident response efforts, including detection, containment, and recovery, while coordinating with legal and regulatory bodies
• Design and implement AI-driven security systems for comprehensive coverage, including automated audits and monitoring

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role such as CISO or Head of Security at a company of 100+ people
• Experience in live-incident response and building security programs from the ground up
• Proficiency in cloud security (AWS preferred) and identity/access management
• Hands-on coding skills for scripting, tooling, and automation
• Deep knowledge of AI-specific risks and experience with high-fraud industries like crypto or fintech
