Chief of Staff, Engineering

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with engineering leadership, the full-time Chief of Staff, Engineering will drive operating cadence, manage cross-organizational execution, and support data-driven decision-making in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to engineering leadership, translating strategic priorities into execution plans and managing the engineering leadership operating cadence
• Own planning and coordination for complex programs and strategic projects, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams
• Define and standardize success metrics, providing data-backed reporting and insights to support engineering leadership's decision-making processes

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in program management, project management, or executive support roles
• Strong executive presence with the ability to represent leadership credibly across the organization
• Proven ability to drive accountability and coordination across teams without direct authority
• Experience with AI-assisted dashboards and automation tools to enhance reporting and workflow efficiency
• Familiarity with DORA-style metrics and experience in security, SaaS, or infrastructure-heavy environments
