Chief Sponsorship Officer

Job Summary

Leading the system-wide sponsorship function, the full-time Chief Sponsorship Officer will manage relationships among sponsoring organizations, executive leadership, and governance bodies while ensuring alignment with mission, values, and Church accountability in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the enterprise sponsorship function, ensuring alignment with sponsor expectations and Church accountability
• Act as the primary liaison between sponsorship and system executive leadership to align mission, governance, and strategy
• Design and implement ministry formation programs and ensure integration of Catholic ethical directives into policies and operations

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Health Care Administration, or related field
• Minimum of eight years of executive leadership experience in Catholic health care, sponsorship, or governance roles
• Experience working with boards and Church leadership in complex health systems
• Advanced theological or canonical training (preferred)
• Practicing member of the Roman Catholic Church (preferred)
