Child and Adolescent Physician

Job Summary

To support the development of child safety benchmarks for AI systems, a part-time contract Child & Adolescent Physician will design evaluation criteria, review AI interactions for safety risks, and collaborate with researchers to ensure age-appropriate behavior in AI.

Key responsibilities

• Design realistic scenarios across developmental stages from early childhood through adolescence
• Define evaluation criteria and scoring rubrics for safe, age-appropriate AI behavior
• Review and rate AI conversations for clinical, developmental, and safety risks

Required qualifications

• MD/DO in child & adolescent psychiatry, developmental-behavioral pediatrics, pediatrics, or adolescent medicine (board certified or board eligible) or a PhD/PsyD in developmental psychology or clinical child psychology
• Current or recent direct work with children or adolescents (clinical, research, or both)
• Strong clinical judgment and clear written communication
• Comfort reviewing sensitive content and maintaining strict confidentiality
