Job Summary
Responding to inquiries for the New Jersey Department of Human Services, the full-time Child Support Call Center Agent will manage inbound calls, address customer concerns regarding child support, and document interactions while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls, providing accurate information and addressing customer inquiries following established procedures
- Research and resolve questions related to child support payment histories and account details
- Document customer interactions and escalate calls as necessary to ensure quality service
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Two years of high-volume call center or customer service experience
- Computer system experience with data entry and database documentation
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
- Must have personal equipment that meets specified technical requirements, including dual monitors
