Job Summary
Responding to inquiries for the New Jersey Department of Human Services, the full-time Child Support Call Center Agent will manage inbound calls, address customer concerns regarding child support payments, and document interactions while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls, providing accurate information and resolving customer inquiries according to established procedures
- Research and document customer interactions, including answering questions about payment history and account details
- Assist callers with resetting personal identification and escalate issues as necessary
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Two years of high-volume call center or customer service experience
- Experience with data entry and database documentation
- Ability to use a computer with specific technical requirements, including dual monitors and compatible specifications
- Background and drug screening required
