Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Child Support Call Center Agent will manage inbound inquiries for the New Jersey Department of Human Services, addressing customer concerns and providing accurate information regarding child support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to telephone inquiries and concerns while adhering to approved procedures and maintaining call quality
- Provide information on child support payment histories and reset personal identification for callers
- Document customer calls and research inquiries to offer appropriate resolutions and inform customers of available services
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Two years of experience in a high-volume call center or customer service role
- Proficiency in data entry and database documentation
- Ability to operate a computer with specified technical requirements and maintain a minimum internet speed of 400 Mbps
- Must possess own equipment, including two monitors, and meet specific hardware specifications
