Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Child Support Call Center Agent will manage inbound inquiries for the New Jersey Department of Human Services Office of Child Support, providing accurate information and assistance to callers regarding child support services and account histories.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to telephone inquiries and concerns using approved procedures while ensuring call quality and integrity
- Gather information, research, and resolve customer inquiries, documenting calls appropriately
- Communicate options for resolution and inform customers of available services and resources
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 years of high-volume call center or customer service experience
- Computer system experience with data entry and database documentation knowledge
- Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
- Own equipment including a compatible PC, two monitors, and meet specified technical requirements
