Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Child Support Call Center Agent will manage inbound inquiries for the New Jersey Department of Human Services, addressing customer concerns and providing accurate information regarding child support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to telephone inquiries and concerns using approved procedures and guidelines while ensuring call quality
- Provide information on child support payment histories and account details, and assist callers with resetting personal identification
- Document customer interactions, gather information, and escalate calls as necessary to ensure customer needs are met
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Two years of high-volume call center or customer service experience
- Experience with data entry and database documentation
- Ability to operate a computer system with specific technical requirements, including dual monitors
- Internet speed of at least 400 Mbps and a compatible computer setup
