CISSP Certified Security Risk Director

Job Summary

As a full-time CISSP Certified Security Risk Director, the successful candidate will develop and oversee the Security Risk Strategic Roadmap, manage a high-performing team, and collaborate with senior leaders to translate security initiatives into actionable business strategies in a remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Directs and oversees security risk strategy teams to align with leadership goals, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Manages the ongoing strategic planning lifecycle and communicates the Security Risk Strategic Roadmap
• Collaborates with business units and senior leadership to drive strategic plans based on the evolving threat landscape

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience with security capabilities, technologies, and architecture; 5+ years in a leadership role
• CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSMP, CISSP, CISM, or related advanced Risk or Security certification required
• Experience in large, highly regulated organizations, preferably in healthcare
• Strong technical cybersecurity background with experience in third-party risk management and Cyber Risk Quantification (CRQ)
