Civil Engineer for Data Centers
Job Summary
To support a rapidly growing portfolio of large-scale data center developments, the remote Civil Engineer for Data Centers will evaluate prospective sites, shape conceptual campus plans, and advise multidisciplinary teams on civil conditions impacting development.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate prospective data center sites, identifying terrain, access, drainage, and development constraints
- Shape conceptual campus plans and contribute civil engineering insights during the initial stages of design
- Coordinate with outside civil engineering partners and prepare projects for transition into detailed design
Required Qualifications
- Significant civil engineering or civil site design experience, specifically with data center projects
- Hands-on knowledge of large site development fundamentals, including grading and layout
- Experience in conceptual site planning or master planning for complex facilities
- Proficiency with civil CAD or site development design tools
- Ability to operate effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects
