Job Summary
To support infrastructure projects, the full-time remote Civil Engineer-In-Training will assist in preparing structural designs and drawings for solar foundations, conduct project specification research, and provide drafting support using AutoCAD.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of structural designs and drawings for solar foundations and support structures
- Conduct project specification research to ensure compliance with building codes and project requirements
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to address structural-related issues and provide drafting support
Required qualifications
- B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Civil Engineer-In-Training (FE) registration required
- 2-4+ years of engineering experience in structural design, preferably on utility-scale solar projects
- Knowledge of relevant codes such as ASCE 7, ACI 318, and AISC 360/341
- Familiarity with software tools including AutoCAD, L-PILE, and RISA 3D/2D
