CJIS Certified Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time temporary basis, the Senior Security Automation Engineer Security Architect will develop and support security automations, custom tools, and integrations while ensuring effective operational support for enterprise security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, development, and operational support of enterprise security automations and custom security tools
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain automated security workflows, applications, and scripts using various programming languages and technologies
• Support identity and access management functions, including user provisioning and access control, while collaborating with security teams to align solutions with business goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Security related field, or eight years of relevant work experience
• Must obtain and retain annual CJIS certification upon hiring
• Five years of hands-on security engineering experience supporting multiple cybersecurity technologies
• Experience developing security automations and scripts using Python and other relevant languages
• Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and incident response processes
