Claims Analyst
Job Summary
To support the resolution of cargo claims, the temporary Claims Analyst will work virtually in the US or Canada, managing investigations, verifying claims, and negotiating settlements with customers within a 30-day timeframe.
Key responsibilities
- Verify and investigate claims to establish legal liability and identify accountable parties
- Assess claimed item values, evaluate repair options, and negotiate settlements in compliance with contractual terms
- Maintain accurate records and provide necessary documentation to support settlement decisions
Required qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a Claims or Customer Service setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
