Claims Analyst
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and analytical, the full-time Claims Analyst will manage a portfolio of temperature-controlled cargo claims remotely, ensuring timely resolution while adhering to compliance standards and mitigating financial losses.
Key responsibilities
- Manage cargo claims from initial filing to resolution, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Investigate claims related to temperature deviations and negotiate settlements with stakeholders
- Monitor cold-chain compliance and operational risk workflows to prevent financial loss
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of cargo claims management experience, particularly in 3PL or freight brokerage
- In-depth knowledge of perishable freight laws, including PACA and FSMA regulations
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills with experience in high-value settlements
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and claims management software
