Claims Analyst

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and analytical, the full-time remote Claims Analyst will manage a portfolio of temperature-controlled cargo claims, ensuring timely resolutions while adhering to compliance standards and protecting the company's financial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage claims from initial filing to resolution, ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Investigate and resolve claims related to temperature deviations and other perishable freight issues
• Negotiate settlements with shippers, carriers, and insurance adjusters within established authority levels

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of cargo claims management experience, particularly in 3PL or freight brokerage environments
• In-depth knowledge of perishable freight laws, including the Carmack Amendment and PACA guidelines
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills with experience in high-value settlements
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and claims management software
