Claims Consultant

Job Summary

Managing claims and suits brought against policyholders, the full-time Claims Consultant will confirm coverage, interpret coverage issues, and oversee litigation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Confirm coverage and manage claims and suits against policyholders
• Appoint legal counsel and manage litigation with outside counsel
• Resolve cases through settlement negotiations, dismissal, or trial

Required qualifications

• J.D. preferred or a Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years of claim experience with lawyer's professional liability (LPL) claims
• Familiarity with personal injury, trusts and estates, and real estate claims
