Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time hourly capacity, the Claims Examiner will process medical, dental, and vision claims while ensuring compliance with plan provisions and providing excellent customer service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Interprets plan documents and processes claims, determining eligibility and managing workload
• Tracks and responds to inquiries and appeals, maintaining accurate records in the system
• Collaborates with cross-departmental teams to improve quality and customer satisfaction

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in clerical and customer service roles
• Working knowledge of computers and software, including Microsoft Office products
• Strong mathematical, typing, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate neutrality in communications
