Claims Examiner I
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Claims Examiner I will assess claim information, process insurance claims, and perform research and adjustments for complicated cases.
Key responsibilities
- Processes claims for multiple products or claim types, including dental, hospital, and medical
- Conducts research and adjustments for claims, responding to inquiries from internal and external customers
- Completes special projects and performs complex transactions related to FEP claims
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of customer service, member services, or claims processing experience
- Advanced keyboarding knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
