Claims Follow-up Trainer

Job Summary

To enhance staff development, the full-time remote Claims Follow-up Trainer will design and implement training programs, monitor performance metrics, and maintain departmental policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and implements a comprehensive claims follow-up training program for new hires and ongoing staff development
• Plans and leads educational training sessions for all claims follow-up staff, focusing on system navigation and relevant policies
• Conducts performance audits and provides targeted training to address deficiencies while promoting a collaborative work environment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting
• Five years of related experience in claims follow-up or billing
• Extensive knowledge of third-party billing, including ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding
• Strong computer skills and ability to utilize e-learning technology
• Ability to work independently within established administrative policies
