Claims Operations Manager

Job Summary

To establish and run a disciplined claims-servicing capability, the full-time Claims Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end claims operations process for a reinsurance portfolio, ensuring accurate information and timely follow-through while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish and operate the claims intake, triage, tracking, and escalation process across treaty and delegated authority reinsurance business
• Coordinate claims notifications, bordereaux, reserve movements, and supporting documentation among various stakeholders
• Maintain a complete and auditable claims register, ensuring clear status, ownership, and financial movements

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant claims operations or reinsurance claims experience within a broker, insurer, MGA, or reinsurer
• Strong understanding of claims bordereaux, loss reporting, and reinsurance contract administration
• Ability to coordinate multiple parties and manage complex matters effectively
• Experience in a fast-moving environment where processes are being built and operated
• Familiarity with broker-management or claims accounting systems is preferred
