Claims Representative
Job Summary
Working remotely with occasional travel to Greensboro, NC, the full-time Claims Representative will obtain information regarding losses, advise customers on claims filing, and assist the claims team with project support.
Key responsibilities
- Obtain specific information regarding loss/claim to report to the company
- Advise customers on necessary information for claims filing and respond to inquiries about claim status
- Assist producers and the claims team with claims status and special projects
Required qualifications
- High School graduate
- Experience in coverage and/or adjusting, preferably in commercial lines
- Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients
- Considerable knowledge of basic company computer programs for word processing and accounting
- Willingness to learn McGriff's claim management/agency management system
