Claims Representative II
Job Summary
Evaluating and processing non-contestable and complex life and health claims, the full-time Claims Representative II will work remotely to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements while maintaining clear communication with claimants and business partners.
Key responsibilities
- Establish, research, and process claims while adhering to productivity and quality standards
- Review policy records and confirm coverage and claim validity using approved databases
- Communicate with various stakeholders regarding claim requirements, status, and resolution
Required qualifications
- At least two years of experience as a Claims Representative I or comparable claims experience
- Advanced knowledge of claims practices, claims systems, and life insurance products
- Some college coursework preferred
- Three to five years of experience in claims, customer service, or a related insurance administrative role preferred
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
