Claims Supervisor
Job Summary
Overseeing the day-to-day functions of the claims department, the full-time Claims Supervisor will provide technical and leadership support to staff, develop policies to ensure compliance, and drive process improvements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage claims inventory to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulations
- Prioritize daily work volumes and manage operational costs through effective reporting and load balancing
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex claims, conducting reviews and resolving issues as needed
Required qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in the health insurance industry, claims processing, or related office services
- Previous supervisory experience with defined outcomes
- Experience with Medicaid, Marketplace, and/or Medicare preferred
