Job Summary
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the claims area, the full-time Claims Supervisor will provide technical and leadership support to staff, develop and implement compliance policies, and ensure timely processing of medical claims in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage claims inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and resolve operational gaps, focusing on financial and stakeholder impacts
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex claims, reviewing and resolving pending issues while monitoring claims quality reviews
Required qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in the health insurance industry, claims processing, or related office services
- Previous supervisory experience with defined outcomes
- Experience with Medicaid, Marketplace, and/or Medicare is preferred
