Claims Supervisor, Florida Licensed

Job Summary

Leading a team of claims professionals, the full-time Claims Supervisor, Florida Licensed, will manage claims activities, oversee workflow and staffing, and ensure timely processing of claims in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinates daily claims activities, assigns tasks, and monitors staff performance to meet productivity and quality standards
• Hires, trains, and develops the claims team while ensuring accountability for team performance
• Reviews claim reports to identify trends and implements strategies for improvement and efficient claim handling

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of medical claims processing experience or equivalent education and experience
• Thorough knowledge of processing outpatient and inpatient facility claims for Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace plans
• Strong research, analysis, data entry, and auditing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs
• Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment
