Claims Team Leader
Job Summary
To support the efficiency of claims processing, the full-time remote Claims Team Leader will assist in developing and maintaining a skilled team of Claims Specialists while also performing claims-related tasks as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze the workflow of Claims Specialists to ensure timely and accurate claims processing
- Provide mentoring and coaching to team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration
- Analyze claims workflow to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring adherence to quality standards
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of claims processing or customer service experience
- Detailed knowledge of health insurance plans and claims processing guidelines preferred
- Demonstrated ability to assist with special requests and projects
- Experience in mentoring and developing team members
