Claims Vendor Management Manager

Job Summary

Leading the Claims Vendor Management program, the full-time Manager, Claims Vendor Management will oversee vendor relationships, execute vendor strategy, and collaborate across departments to drive performance improvements in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with various claims vendors, including managed care, legal, and support services
• Implement vendor performance management frameworks and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Lead contract negotiations and run formal RFP processes to optimize vendor selection and cost savings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or strategic sourcing
• 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry, particularly in claims operations or vendor management
• Strong understanding of managed care services and legal vendor management
• Experience leading vendor contract negotiations and achieving cost savings
