Client Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Managing a self-contained business unit, the full-time Client Accounting Division Manager will oversee P&L accountability, drive performance across KPIs, and lead a team focused on inventory and cost accounting for consumer and product-based startups in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the division's P&L, track performance against KPIs, and report results to leadership
• Lead team development through regular feedback, performance reviews, and growth plans
• Oversee inventory accounting processes and ensure accurate financial reporting for clients

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, with 5+ years of progressive experience
• Direct people management experience, including performance reviews and team development
• Exceptional client relationship management skills with a strong understanding of client needs
• Strong command of GAAP and cost accounting, including inventory accounting methods
• Experience in project management, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-quality results
