Client Engineering Lead

Job Summary

To support a growing engineering team, the full-time Client Engineering Lead will own client engagements end-to-end, manage a small team of engineers, and remain hands-on with coding and architecture while working remotely or from the Chicago office.

Key responsibilities

• Own client engagements from scoping to delivery, ensuring impactful outcomes for clients
• Manage and unblock a team of engineers, setting priorities and facilitating day-to-day operations
• Bridge the gap between engineering and business by translating client requirements and managing expectations

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on engineering experience with production systems
• Experience managing engineers or leading a team, with a focus on accountability for team output
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients on technical concepts
• Cross-domain fluency in data, infrastructure, backend, and AI technologies
• Proficiency with AI tools and a mindset geared towards leveraging AI for enhanced productivity
