Client-Facing CFO for Manufacturing

Job Summary

Seeking a Client-Facing CFO for Manufacturing, the full-time remote position will manage client relationships, provide strategic financial guidance, and oversee cost accounting and inventory management for a diverse portfolio of manufacturing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end client relationship, delivering strategic guidance in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management
• Build and maintain cost accounting structures and oversee inventory accounting to enhance financial visibility and decision-making
• Lead client teams, mentoring Controllers and accountants while ensuring high client satisfaction through impactful quarterly business reviews

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial advisory or CFO services, with 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role in manufacturing
• Hands-on expertise in manufacturing cost accounting and experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Proven leadership in financial planning, capital strategy, and operational efficiency for mid-market businesses
• Strong background in GAAP accounting principles and forecasting tools
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted advisor in complex business scenarios, including M&A and risk mitigation
