Job Summary
To support a major healthcare company, the temporary Client Services Specialist will investigate claim denials, resolve complex billing issues, and serve as a liaison between patients and insurance carriers while working remotely in the Central Time zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with patients and insurance carriers to address billing inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
- Investigate denied or underpaid medical claims to determine root causes and coordinate resolutions
- Prepare and submit claim corrections and formal appeals, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of revenue cycle experience in healthcare billing or denial management
- Solid understanding of medical claims workflows and payer processes
- Hands-on experience with medical billing systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work a set schedule of 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM CST in a dedicated remote home office
