Clinic Support Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, the remote Clinic Support Specialist will provide responsive clinical support, manage patient interactions, and ensure efficient scheduling and documentation while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and triage inbound calls from patients, ensuring a supportive experience and connecting them with appropriate resources
• Manage patient records, appointment scheduling, and follow-up needs while maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR and ticketing systems
• Engage with patients empathetically, addressing their concerns and promoting retention within the program through effective communication

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a certified Medical Assistant or in an addiction treatment patient services role
• Understanding of the challenges faced by the AUD/SUD population, including stigma and barriers to care
• Proficiency with online systems and applications, including GSuite, Zoom, and Healthie EMR
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a high-paced virtual setting
• Ability to work independently and self-direct throughout the day with minimal supervision
