Clinic Support Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, the remote Clinic Support Specialist will manage patient interactions, triage inquiries, and assist with scheduling and documentation, ensuring a seamless experience for individuals navigating alcohol use disorder.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and triage inbound calls from patients, connecting them with appropriate resources and ensuring a supportive experience
• Manage patient records and appointment scheduling while maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR and ticketing systems
• Provide responsive clinical support to clinicians and assist with cancellation management to promote patient retention

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a certified Medical Assistant or in an addiction treatment patient services role
• Understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with alcohol use disorder and the ability to communicate empathetically
• Familiarity with online systems and technology, including EMR and CRM systems
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A private, secure workspace with reliable high-speed internet for virtual meetings
