Clinical Contracts Associate Director
Job Summary
Supporting the legal team in contract negotiations, the full-time Associate Director Clinical Contracts will manage clinical trial agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other legal documents, working remotely or in a hybrid capacity from San Diego, California.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, analyze, and review various legal documents related to clinical operations, including clinical trial agreements and confidentiality agreements
- Identify and escalate risks, providing recommendations to facilitate informed decision-making and support contract negotiations
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and proactively implement improved processes for the legal team
Required qualifications
- BA/BS or MS from an accredited U.S. college
- 5-8 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 4 years in contract negotiation and drafting
- Experience negotiating and drafting international contracts
- Prior in-house experience within a legal or clinical operations department in a biotechnology or pharmaceuticals company
- Strong drafting skills and practical experience with Excel and PowerPoint
