Job Summary
To support evidence generation in clinical research, the full-time Clinical Data Engineer will design and maintain automated data pipelines, ensuring the transformation of raw EHR data into structured datasets while managing data quality and compliance in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain version-controlled Python/SQL pipelines for transforming raw EHR extracts into structured datasets
- Drive end-to-end data management for Evidence Generation studies, including data ingestion, cleaning, and quality control
- Collaborate with site IT and internal teams to develop feasible study data capture plans and maintain clinical governance documentation
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years in clinical research, real-world evidence, or health informatics
- Proven experience in building research databases, including data cleaning and quality control
- Strong SQL and Python skills for automated ETL pipeline development
- Hands-on experience with transforming raw EHR extracts into structured datasets
- Familiarity with clinical terminologies and data model variations across health systems
