Clinical Data Management Manager

Job Summary

To provide management and leadership oversight of assigned teams and projects within the Data Management department, the full-time Clinical Data Management Manager will ensure study execution and budget management while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage teams and projects within the Data Management department, acting as the primary point of contact for study-specific escalations
• Oversee staff allocation, training, and mentoring, while addressing operational or budget risks and managing performance-related escalations
• Participate in sponsor audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring effective processes and providing mentorship to team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in biomedical sciences, life sciences, computer science, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in clinical data management or a related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries
• 2-4 years of line management experience
• Expert knowledge of data management best practices and technologies as applied to clinical trials
• Strong project management skills with experience managing data management teams and projects
