Clinical Data Manager I

Job Summary

Supporting clinical research data management for the Gastrointestinal Disease Center, the full-time Clinical Data Manager I will abstract, enter, validate, clean, and maintain clinical and research data while collaborating with research personnel and ensuring high-quality data collection, with some remote work eligibility and potential in-office attendance required.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, abstract, compile, enter, and maintain clinical and research data
• Review, clean, validate, and perform quality assurance of clinical research data
• Assist with the development and maintenance of clinical data collection tools and documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalency) and 2 years of directly related work experience, or a master's degree (or equivalency)
• Experience with clinical data abstraction, data entry, and quality assurance
• Proficiency with electronic data capture systems and Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with medical terminology and oncology-related clinical data
• Ability to identify data discrepancies and follow standardized documentation processes
