Clinical Development Director

Job Summary

To lead innovative clinical development initiatives, the full-time Clinical Development Director will design the first-in-human program and core clinical development plan for a novel mechanism targeting metabolism and autoimmune diseases in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Build the clinical development plan and first-in-human strategy from inception
• Design the Phase 1 protocol, including dose, endpoints, and population considerations
• Shape the translational and biomarker strategy to validate preclinical mechanisms in humans

Required qualifications

• MD with relevant credentials to enhance program credibility
• Established global KOL and site network in autoimmune disease, with metabolic disease experience as a plus
• Proven track record of advancing assets into the clinic with innovative early-phase program designs
• Experience in designing and executing early clinical development, particularly proof-of-mechanism studies
• Strong strategic and scientific judgment with a patient-centered approach to clinical challenges
