Clinical Documentation Integrity Auditor
Job Summary
To support the quality and risk adjustment strategy, the full-time Clinical Documentation Integrity Auditor will perform medical record audits, coding validation, and provider queries while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct medical record audits based on organizational priorities, including concurrent and retrospective CDI workflows
- Perform coding validation reviews to confirm or adjust diagnoses as necessary
- Initiate provider queries for documentation clarification to enhance clinical accuracy
Required qualifications
- Certifications: CPC or CRC (AAPC) or CDIP/CCDSR or CCS (AHIMA)
- 3+ years in outpatient CDI or 5+ years in risk adjustment coding/auditing
- Experience with AI tools, Copilots, and Google Suite
- Prior CPT coding experience is a plus
