Job Summary
Supporting the CDI Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, the full-time Clinical Documentation Integrity Supervisor will manage CDI assignments, monitor team performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective clinical documentation practices in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert oversight and leadership for Clinical Documentation Integrity team operations
- Manage daily CDI assignments, staffing adjustments, and monitor productivity and compliance
- Collaborate with facility CDI teams and internal leadership to enhance CDI operations and technology use
Required qualifications
- Must hold at least one of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, RN, MD, or MD-equivalent clinical credentials
- Minimum of 5 years of acute care hospital CDI experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of prior management or supervisory experience required
- Familiarity with encoder use and DRG assignment, including MS-DRG and APR-DRG methodologies
- Must maintain required credentials and certifications throughout employment
