Job Summary
Supporting the CDI Manager, the full-time Clinical Documentation Integrity Supervisor will oversee daily operations for the CDI team, manage staffing and productivity, and ensure compliance with best practices while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily assignments and monitor productivity for Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists
- Collaborate with facility CDI teams and stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and compliance
- Conduct monthly quality reviews and develop educational resources for medical staff and CDI personnel
Required qualifications
- Must hold at least one of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, RN, MD, or MD-equivalent clinical credentials
- Minimum of 5 years of acute care hospital CDI experience required
- Familiarity with encoder use and DRG assignment methodologies
